About Nurse Gang -NG

A NURSE GANG is a group of nurses with identifiable leadership and internal organization, identifying with or claiming control over territory in a hospital, and engaging either individually or collectively in medical, legal, nonviolent activity.  Some nurse gang members "are eaten alive" (by going through the process of initiation) or have to prove their loyalty and right to belong to the group by passing the NCLEX, usually an act of Congress.  A member of the nurse gang may be called a nurse prospect (student), LPN, RN, BSN, MSN, NP.
